National Volunteer Week, April 6 to 12, is a time to recognize, celebrate and thank Canada’s 13.3 million volunteers. And among them are some 350 who so freely give their time to the Saskatoon Open Door Society!

Our volunteers assist us in many ways: translation services, mentoring, friendship, language practice, day care, cooking, quilting, gardening, special activities, board of directors, coaching skills, and so many more. They jump at the chance to help out in a moment’s notice, giving not only their time but clothing donations, food donations, furniture donations, delivery services and even muscles!
