The Essential Skills Pilot Project is a program that has been formed to assist clients to; develop skills that employers are looking for which increase safety and productivity on the job and develop strategies to help you learn better. Essential Skills provide the foundations for success in work, learning and life. They include Reading text, numeracy and document use.

The Essential Skills Project will include orientation, test of Workplace Essential Skills (TOWES) pre and post-assessments and essential skills direct online training.
