Volunteers are a vital part of or organization. Volunteers provide valuable assistance to staff and a link to the community for newcomers. Our volunteers are dedicated, tireless and compassionate. Through their efforts and time, the settlement experience of most newcomers to Saskatoon is made smoother and less difficult.
To become a volunteer, the steps are:
1. Attend a General Information Session
2. Complete reference checks and criminal record check
3. Complete an application package
4. Complete a short interview with the Volunteer Coordinator
5. Attend program-specific training
