Saskatoon Open Door Society News

The Fast Track to Employment is an employment preparation program designed to assist newcomers acquire industry specific vocabulary and orientation, as well as certification; job search and job management skills to gain employment in hospitality, production, manufacturing and service industries. 

While working/learning in a classroom setting, participants also earn certificates in the computer lab for 8 weeks. Participants also receive an additional 8 weeks of one to one assistance to find suitable/sustainable employment, if they have not secured employment in the first 8 weeks.”

Eligibility: Individuals who will participate in this program must be:
• Unemployed 
• Legally eligible to work in Canada 
• Able to speak, read and write English at least CLB 3-5 
• Motivated to find employment 
• Able to attend classes Monday to Thursday from 9 am-12 noon, OR 2 pm to 5 pm  OR  4 pm-7 pm.

Interested individuals must attend a one hour Orientation Session to register: 

• October 7 at 9 am
• October 9 at 6:30 pm
