Once newcomers are settled in their new home and community, a number of our programs enable them to create meaningful connections with other newcomers, with employers and with Saskatoon. The programming we offer is designed to help newcomers continue to establish themselves in their new community. Along with the programs listed below, we also provide:

Series of workshops and educational sessions for newcomers to learn about rules and responsibilities in their new community
Information and education about existing resources available in the community
Cross-cultural education and awareness for community members

Programs for adults

A number of our programs are designed to provide adults with an opportunity to connect with one another, develop new skills and establish friendships that make their transition easier.

Programs for parents

We are here to help you give your children a great start in life, find the balance between your traditional culture and the Canadian way of life, and meet other parents who face similar challenges.

Programs for youth and students

Young people are our hope for the future. Find out about our many innovative programs dedicated to engaging your children and teenagers. We believe in actively involving young newcomers in their new community with schoolwork assistance programs, social networking, sports and different youth-oriented cultural events.
