Saskatoon Open Door Society exists to welcome and support refugees and newcomers in their transition to life in Canada and integration in the greater Saskatoon community. It is stewarded by a governing board which is made up of 12 volunteer members who are elected by the membership. Every year at the AGM, elections are held to vote several new members on to the Board. Anyone interested in having their name stand to be elected to Board of Directors must complete the following:

1. Must be a member in good standing at least 14 days prior to the AGM (membership application attached below)

2. Must complete Board Nominee application package and return to mzettl@sods.sk.ca or lwhitehead@sods.sk.ca no later than May 19th, 2015

Candidates will then be interviewed by a committee of the Board prior to the AGM and subsequent election.
