Civic Square was filled June 20th with people gathering to celebrate World Refugee Day. The annual event, organized by the Saskatoon Refugee Coalition, has been observed since the United Nations passed a resolution in late 2000 marking the day. The purpose is to make people aware of refugee situations worldwide.
