Our Skills-4-Work program is offering new sessions for newcomers to Canada who are interested in employment in Office, Reception or Customer Service roles. The program includes training in job skills to succeed in a customer service and office setting, development of oral and written English for the workplace, practice in keyboarding and computer applications and an opportunity to increase awareness of Canadian culture and workplace expectations.

To be eligible, participants must: be a permanent resident, be motivated to find employment in a customer service environment, have formal education/training, have some work experience in related
or nonrelated field(s) and must speak, read and write at CLB at a Level 5+.

The next Skill-4-Work program begins May 15th, 2012. The Information sessions and registration will be on Tuesday May 1st, 2012 @ 10:00 am and Thursday May 10th, 2012 @ 5:00pm. They will be held at The Saskatoon Open Door Society (100-129 3rd Avenue North).
