Registration for the next intake of the Enhanced Language Training (ELT) program begins with new applications being accepted as of Monday, October 15, 2012. All applications for this intake must be received by Monday, November 19. The classroom training part of the program begins on January 7, 2013. The first Information Session is on Monday, October 22. Clients must attend an Information Session before they are invited to an Intake Interview. Here are some reminders about the Intake process and eligibility for the program: To be eligible all applicants need to: a) Have completed a language assessment within the last year and have levels of CLB 5 – 8 in all areas b) Lived in Canada for 5 years or less c) Have completed a degree, diploma, or certificate from outside of Canada d) Be legally entitled to work in Canada (residency status does not matter) e) Be looking for work in their field and available to complete this program (for 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am to 5pm)
