We will offer a 1-day capacity building employment workshops for newcomers who want to jumpstart their job search skills. This series of employment workshops at the Open Door Society orient newcomers to the Canadian workplace and aim to equip them with the skills that they need to find gainful employment. 

Topics to be covered include; building job search skills, developing a job-specific resume, writing cover letter, preparing for the job interview, knowing your rights, responsibilities and expectations in the workplace. The Workshop will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM in the Client Services Centre at the Saskatoon Open Door Society, 100-129 3rd Avenue North.
