A new session of the Youth Empowerment Workshops will be starting on January 18, 2013. The Youth Empowerment workshops help newcomer youth to grow and develop through art, woodworking and drumming. It is a great opportunity for the youth to come out, meet friends from different cultures, have fun and at the same time develop new skills.

The workshops are for newcomer youth between the ages of 12 and 24. The art workshops start on January 18th and will be held every Fridays from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. Woodworking starts on January 31st and will be held every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The drumming workshops will begin on February 5th and will be held every Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:30 PM.
