5 compulsory trades, including:

  • Construction Electrician
  • Plumber
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
  • Sheet Metal Worker
  • Sprinkler Fitter

40+ designated trades in four sectors - Agriculture, Tourism & Service; Construction;  Motive Repair; and Production and Maintenance.

To register:

  • For ESU clients, please contact your employment counsellor for a referral.
  • If you are not an ESU client, please come to Employment Services Unit to register with a valid English score and a referral letter from Newcomer Information Center or settlement counsellors at Saskatoon Open Door Society.
