Who is eligible?

An employer must be registered in Saskatchewan and demonstrate a commitment to hiring immigrants or promoting immigrant employment outcomes.

Evaluation Criteria:

  1. The proportion of immigrant employees relative to the total number of non-immigrant employees (30% of the total score);
  2. The presence of inclusive and/or innovative marketing strategies to attract immigrants (e.g., job postings in different languages and in places commonly accessed by immigrants, participation in job fairs and employer information sessions) (35% of the total score);
  3. The implementation of special recruitment processes, initiatives, and programs (e.g., networking programs and mentorship, established immigrant hiring targets, alternative qualification assessment methods, participation in mock interview sessions) (35% of the total score).
