Leadership in Immigrant Integration

Who is eligible for this award?

To be eligible, an employer must be registered in Saskatchewan and demonstrate leadership in immigrant* integration into the workplace through various initiatives. Agencies primalily dedicated to serving newcomers are not eligible.

Evaluation Criteria

1.     The implementation of practices and programs that help new immigrant employees successfully adapt to the new workplace culture  (50% of the total score);

2.     The implementation of programs and initiatives that create an inclusive work environment (50% of the total score).

* The term immigrant refers to recent and established newcomers whose education and work experience was mainly obtained outside of Canada.
