Events in Palestine and Israel in the last few weeks defy belief -- the human suffering, loss of innocent lives and destruction of critical infrastructure has been unimaginable. SODS believes we are all members of one human race and must work together to end human suffering, violence and oppression. We call on the international community and world leaders to take rapid collective action to end the violence and allow the immediate entry of sufficient humanitarian aid into Gaza. We call for all parties involved to respect international law and human rights legislation and engage in dialogue for a peaceful resolution of the region's long-standing conflict.
We stand in solidarity with all our clients, staff, volunteers and stakeholders with ties to the region and add our voice to the call for an end to the violence, an immediate ceasefire and access to humanitarian aid.
